Young Rugby League players from the South Yorkshire area with ambitions to play the game professionally were given a boost recently as three local young players made their first team debuts in the professional ranks.

Ecclesfield Archie Activity Day 2009

On Thursday 26th February 2009, over 300 year 2’s descended on the Ecclesfield sports facilities, to take part in the Archie Activity Day 2009.

Arches Primary Sports Hall Athletics

On Thursday 29th Jan, 9 Primary schools came together to Hillsborough Leisure Centre to compete in a Sports Hall Athletics competition. There was a mixture of track and field events and the selected pupils from each schools put great effort into each performance.

Hotshots Basketball Final

12 teams from the Arches School Sports Partnership played off at the EnglishInstitute of Sport on Tuesday 20 January. It was great to see so many children playing and representing their schools with lots of future basketball stars in the making!

Firth Park Climb to new Heights

In November, 15 pupils attended a 4 week climbing programme to learn more about the sport and to test themselves on some of the countries finest problems.
